Shelter for innovators _ A training facility for social corporations, converted from a former forest kindergarten.
In Hoengseong Wucheon-Myeon, there is a building that used to be operated as a 'forest kindergarten,' as well as a forest bath field. The area has been reconfigured to serve as a space for social innovators.
It is our hope that many innovative ideas come from those who find inspiration on their walks through the forest, and that these would eventually generate more social value.
Donation of land__ 1,006ha of land in the Chungju and Yeongdong regions were donated to Chungnam University to be used for forestry studies
As part of the company’s commitment to contributing to society and progress in forestry studies and education in particular,
SK forest donated the land in Myeongseo-Ri, Sancheok-My eon, Chungju-Si as well as Yangang-Myeon and Haksan-Myeon of Yeongdong-Gun to Chungnam University during the '90s. At present, the land has been turned into a forest used for academic research for both students and professors

The walnut tree forest in Cheonan
Gwangdeok, Cheonan is known as a major production site for walnuts in Korea.
Even within this region, the village of Jijang-ri is particularly renowned for its rich soil along the mountains.
It is a lovely village where beautiful walnuts take their time to become deliciously ripe, thanks to the great affection the villagers take in looking after the trees and mountains.
In 1975, the late inaugural chairman Choi Jong-hyeon planted a small sapling of a walnut tree about 30cm in height in Gwangdeok Mountain in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do.
More than 40years on, Gwangdeok Mountain has now become one of the largest walnut tree forests in Korea, where the sound of cicadas rings throughout during the summer and plump walnuts are harvested in the autumn.
The walnut tree forest is fostered together with the villagers and plays a major role in environmental preservation and the production of safe foods.
